DEFINITION
Akrilik Resurfacer konsantre %100 akrilik latex bağlayıcılı, silis kumu ile karıştırılarak uygulanan, asfalt ve beton zeminlere uygulanan tek komponentli bir akrilik malzemedir. KULLANIM YERLERİ : RHB COURT AC-200 Akrilik Resurfacer spor sahaları sisteminin uygulanacağı asfalt zemin ve cushion sistemin aderansını arttırmak amacıyla kullanıldığı gibi mevcut akrilik yüzeylerin tekrar spor sahası boyanması öncesi astar olarak da kullanılabilir.
SURFACE PREPARATION
For Acrylic Resurfacer application, new hot asphalt surfaces should be degassed for a minimum of 14 - 21 days. The mortar residue etc. on the cured surface is removed by light sandblasting or brushing, then the selected primer is applied.Loose particles such as old paint, dirt, dust etc. on the old concrete and cement plaster surface are removed by sandblasting, scraping, brushing.Oil and grease residues are cleaned with detergent water, if neutralization is required, it is washed with pressurized water. It should be ensured that the floor is completely dry before applying Acrylic Resurfacer. Surface repairs : The court surface is wetted with water and left to dry. During drying, water accumulates in the hollow areas. After these areas are determined with chalk, they should be repaired with Acrylic Repair Binder after the surface is completely dry. Primer Priming of asphalt surfaces with Acrylic Primer is necessary if the existing asphalt is exposed to very bad weather conditions. When Acrylic Resurfacer is applied to new concrete surfaces, Acrylic Primer is required for adherence.
EXPENDITURE
The maximum dilution ratio of Acrylic Resurfacer is 3:2. 4 m2 of floor can be primed with 1 kg. of product. However, the consumption varies depending on the roughness of the surface.
MIXING RATIOS
Acrylic Resurfacer 60 kg Silica sand (50-55 Mesh) 60 kg
APPLICATION GUIDE
Application
Acrylic Resurfacer application should be done with Rubber Squeegee (Gel Beri) in the same direction to the floor. If the floor is hot, the floor should be moistened with water spray for a good application.
MATTERS TO BE CONSIDERED IN PRACTICE
Weather Conditions: Acrylic Resurfacer should never be applied in rainy weather (when it is raining), the surface temperature for application should be minimum 14˚C and maximum 50˚C. It should never be applied above 50˚C.
Interior applications
In indoor applications, high relative humidity, low temperature and inadequate ventilation may delay the drying time. Frost protection : Since Acrylic Resurfacer is a water-based acrylic polymer, it should be protected from freezing during storage and shipment.
